| In 2008 gaf Cedric Pollet het boek ” Écorces – Voyage dans l’intimité des arbres du monde” uit. Het heeft mijn kijk op bomen en hun schors voorgoed veranderd. Sindsdien kan je me regelmatig terugvinden met mijn neus en fototoestel tegen de stam van een boom, op zoek naar de meest wonderbaarlijke kleuren en structuren. Wellicht zag je zo nog nooit naar een boom… De afbeeldingen zijn geordend volgens de wetenschappelijke naam van de boomsoort waarvan ze genomen zijn.
In 2008, Cedric Pollet published the book “Bark -An intimate look at the world’s trees”. It changed the way I look at trees and their bark forever. Since then you can regularly find me with my nose and camera against the trunk of a tree, looking for the most wonderful colors and structures. Perhaps you’ve never looked at a tree like this before… The images are organized according to the scientific name of the tree species from which they were taken. |
